George Gedge, born Brazil, married England. Died Timmins, Ontario?

George Gedge was born 17 December 1893 at the Morro Vehlo Mine in Brazil. He married Annie Lee in 1919 in the Birtley area of County Durham, England and probably died in Timmins, Ontario, Canada which seems to be his last residence. He worked for Hollinger Consolidated Gold Mines in Timmins as a Mining/Safety Engineer and was an active Rotarian in Timmins. He is last found visiting his married daughter in the United States in 1950. Any help as to where/when he died would be helpful.

There's a death of  George Gedge b 1893 in North Burnaby ,British Coumbia on 21 Mar 1955.

1953 electoral rolls of Burnaby show him as a Foreman ,living in Franc(ei)s Street with a Mrs Flora Gedge.

ADDED- that's probably not the right chap- the 1949 electoral roll for Timmins has him at 7 Tamarack Street with Mrs Annie Gedge.

Not sure if Ontario deaths are online for those dates?

The daughter was still living in Canada in 1950 - The border crossing for Annie Gedge 28 Aug 1895 Birtley England. Arriving Sault Ste Marie, Michigan 29 Dec 1950. Last permanent address 7 Tamarack Street Timmins Ont.
Daughter:- Mrs David Rowe. Riverside Drive. Mimico. Ontario Going to A H Nalrab, (could be Wohlrab  )Calumet, Michigan. Purpose of visit to reside permanently.

According to a border crossing 1 st March 1952 for the eldest and youngest daughters - they were going to visit George Gedge at 29 Mine Street, Calumet. Michigan. Both girls born in Cereas Brazil.

Found later info that suggests the eldest is alive and living in Florida - listed in whitepages -  could be worth a look.

The birth date for George Gedge given on 1950 border crossing was 17 Dec 1893. Did not see an entry on the SSDI for George. The SSDI was up and running by 1962.
