information needed about this military photo
« on: Monday 08 April 13 10:47 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone

This photo includes my great uncle who I know served in the West Kent  3rd Regiment (Queen's Own). It looks as if it was taken in 1905. My relative is in the from row, second from the left. He died in Kent in 1906, but I was wondering where this photo was taken and what the De'ath and Dunk (?) might mean? Any other useful information would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Liz

what the De'ath and Dunk (?) might mean?

Are they the photographers ?

From a book on the churches of Canterbury:

All other illustrations have been specially taken
by Messrs. De'ath and Dunk, of Maidstone.

Thanks to you both for the information. I think this confirms the photos was taken in Kent.
