« on: Wednesday 10 April 13 02:11 BST (UK) »
Hi Iam looking for information on William Campbell who married Jean Nolan, I don't know what year they were born but the had around 23 children, one of whom was my great grandmother Rose Campbell born in 1890 in Alderney. I believe some of the other children were Norah 1876, Jane 1878, Florence 1881, James 1883, Annie 1884, Arthur 1886, William 1888, Mary 1889 and Ellen in 1892. Please help me.

James was born c 1850 Ireland. Jane c 1858 Alderney, Channel Islands

Thank you so much Trish for your reply, the information you gave me sounds more accurate and makes more sense. James Campbell married Jane Nolan and had their children in Alderney apart from the last two who were born in Ireland. I knew James Campbell had something to do with the army but wasn't sure. The daughter of James and Jane - Jane Reina, well I thought Reina was the mother Jane's maiden name but now I know it was a middle name. The daughter Jane's nickname was Jinny and she moved to Birmingham U.k and Mary A was Mary Ann and her nickname was Minn. I didn't have any information on Thomas born in 1901 so maybe he could have died, not sure yet. Thanks again for your help, much appreciated.  :)  :) :)

Sean

I am the grandaughter of Florence Campbell-Mc Namara.  If you go to myheritiage.com, you will find more than 600 descendants of your Campbell family.  We are all descendants of James Campbell and Jane Nolan.  I remember Rose, she used to come and visit my grandmother in Belfast.  Write me if you need more info.

Mary
