Bachau Llangollen

I've just had an email from a relative in South Africa.He has just received the birth certificate of his direct ancestor Elizabeth Ellis born in 1843 who was to marry my relative Edward Davies at Llantisilio in 1867.Elizabeth's parents were said to be living at Bachau Llangollen.

Can someone tell me where Bachau is/was in Llangollen?

As the saying goes,ask!I've just been informed by a very helpful lady in the Llangollen Museum that the area formerly given as Bachau in Llangollen corresponds today with the area known as Bache which is just to the south of the Holyhead road(A5).

I was just going to tell you exactly where it was, WR - I have kin who lived there  :)

Very steep hill to get up there!
