Joel Niklasson Lindahl

The above named person born in Sweden in May 1847 is shown on Ancestry dot com records as having emigrated from Sweden.

When did he emigrate, where to and did he marry and have children, who were they and when and where did he die.

There is a remote chance that this person could be related to me -  possible my great grandfather. The reasons being that the date of birth is in the range, the country of origin is most like that of my ancestor, and the name Niklasson ties in with a name Nicoli given by my grandfather as his father's name.

Any help in tracing this person would be very much appreciated.

There is also a record on Anc. that states that a Joel Nicl Lindahl  born in 1841 and from Linneryd Kronoberg Län, Sweden left Gotenborg on 28 April 1871 bound for Macon.  Could this be his emigration?

Sorry the information just says Macon with no reference to which country Macon was in.
