There is a death reg
Ralph Henson
born 30 April 1914
death reg may 1986
age 72
Nottingham 8 656

If this is "your" Ralph then quite possibly this is his birth reg FreeBMD

Ralph Henson
Jun qtr 1914
Mother's maiden name Brown
Nottingham
7b 933

so you could look for a Henson / Brown marriage

Did Ralph have any siblings??

this looks like Stewart's death reg
Stewart Edward langford
born 12 Apr 1916
death reg Sept 1974
age 58
Nottingham
8 1054

if so this could be his birth reg
FreeBMD
Stewart E Langford
mother's maiden name Ronald
Jun qtr 1916
Nottingham
7b 596

by the way possibly Stewart's wife had been married previously as her surname is given on marriage reg as Archibald or Charlton
