So Ancestry have the year wrong for the Varley half of the marriage .....!

FrreBMD has it right - see earlier post .... so its strange if Ancestry dont, as they use FreeBMD for their pre-1916 Index ....

Would like to know if Claude got married and to whom did he have any children.I darent think of the problems there.

so she was born 1859,so she was 21 yrs at her first marriage. makes it better.

I have just looked again (in case I read it wrong, was beginning to think I must have done) and it is 1872 - I have left a "comment"

Presumably the error has been rectified on FreeBMD after Anc had the info.

Theres quite a few Claudes marrying in Nottingham and elsewhere in Notts (not Radford tho) up to 1930.

Pity he didnt have a middle initial.

Do you know the names of any descendants - we might be able to work back using the Births & Marriages Index supported by Maiden Names ...

For Lizdb - sounds like they must have. I dont think Ancestry 'refresh' that often come to think of it ...
