John Thompson Roberts was my Great gradfather, born Liverpool 1816 if this is your gt gt grandfather the info is in the Cheshire Observer Aug 6th 1870, under the heading NISI PRIUS Court. found on the national paper archives site. Hope this helps.

The article is very long winded but traces his pedigree back to 1705 Evan Davies

]Hi I was legendsearcher have had to change cos computer crashed and lost all details am now legendseeker and still looking for info on llanarmon yn lal and llanfair Dyffryn Clwyd parish records for John Roberts married to sarah parry apr 5th 1789 looking for baptism of john  around 1760 ish.to find his parents names.
