florence cotton b.1902 in arklow,ireland.emmigrated to u.s. in 1920.in the 1930 census she worked as a nurse in a hospital in new york.she married a charles anderson,do not know when.he was a boxer when young and worked in bars.i am looking for any information on charles and when they got married,anyinformation on this couple very welcome.thank you in advance,tom

This appears to be Florence & Charles in the 1940 census - https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/K3YK-2V6  It says they were living in the same house in 1935.

On www.fultonhistory.com, there is an obituary for Charles Anderson in a Schenectady, New York newspaper.  If you search for the exact phrase "Florence Cotton Anderson", it should be the only result.  It says he previously owned a tavern.

Just wondering if you got any further info on Florence Cotton ..Anderson. She was my mothers aunt and I remember her visit us in Ireland.
