Sloan/Graham/Butchart

My great grandmother was Annie Graham Butchart, born 14/12/1875 died 1956.  She was married to William Sloan born 29/5/1868 died 24/8/1933.

We know her parents were called John Butchart and Mary Graham and that they lived in Dundee but have been unable to find any birth dates for them.


I'd love to hear from anyone who can tie these names into their tree or can share some new information with me.

Found a marriage for you

John BUTCHART married Mary GRAHAM 31 DEC 1872   Dundee, Angus, Scotland

Also found another child for them.
James Graham BUTCHART born 12 DEC 1873   Old Monkland, Lanark, Scotland

I tried to search for the birth of John BUTCHART between the years 1835-1855 and found 50 possibles most of which were in Angus.

If you go to the Scotlands People website you will be bale to view their marriage cert which will give both sets of parents names and witnesses. Also their address and ages at the time of marriage so you will be able to find their birth records that way.
