Hmmmm ...  ???

1861 & 1871 Census records ... Timothy Blizard, born 'about 1812'
1851 Census record ... Timothy Blizard, born 'about 1821'

What to beieve?

Born 1821 would put him nearer his wife's age but there are more records to suggest 'born 1812' than 'born 1821'

T'would appear that Mr Timothy did 'his bit' for the poor folk of the town but his details are rather mixed up.
I would have thought that his parents would have been traceable from that era but it seems not, how frustrating ... as one door opens, another one shuts. Thanks again for the help given in this thread.
