Glad you're sorted now with your Grace, and as to how I found her, I noted that you'd searched for Grace, and knew that the majority of "Grace" born up til about the 1860's were Grizel, Grizzell and other variants, so I searched Whitburn OPR's for Griz*, no surname between the years of 1810 and 1820 and found that record, I also looked on family search for "Griz* born in West Lothian (the old county of Linlithgowshire, and again found her. Forfarian has sorted you out on the age thing which causes a lot of problems in the 1841 census with the rounding down, I've a family that had 5 children all born in 1815 according to the 1841 census
