ROBERT MAXWELL IN LESWALT

Hi all Robert Maxwell who married Margaret [Mc] Alexander had several children a couple of them appear to be in Leswalt, Wigtown after the Jacobite rebellion when Robert Maxwell, writer at Edinburgh was forced to enlist and sent to India. His so Robert Maxwell married at Leswalt in 1745 to Martha Carnochan, I am looking for any information on the Robert & Martha couple. They appear to immigrate to NYC in 1775 but I can only seem to locate four children to them, there must be more kids born in Scotland to the couple?

28TH June 1728 ROBERT MAXWELL, writer & MARGARET ALEXANDER have a son named ROBERT MAXWELL at EDINBURGH who as follows

age 18                            IMMIGRATED 1775 To NYC
16th Nov 1745 ROBERT MAXWELL married MARTHA CARNOCHAN at LESWALT

15th Dec 1747 MARGARET MAXWELL baptised at LESWALT. Daughter of ROBERT MAXWELL in HILLHEAD.

ca 1758 JANET MAXWELL daughter of ROBERT & MARTHA MAXWELL.

SARAH MAXWELL daughter of ROBERT & MARTHA MAXWELL.

2ND Apr 1765 MARTHA MAXWELL daughter of ROBERT & MARTHA MAXWELL
