Thomas Wells (photographer) Watford - death date

I am looking for information about my great-grandfather Thomas Wells who died in Watford in the 1920s. He was born in Middlesex around 1879 and married Edith Hart in Watford c 1902. i do not have the names of his parents and the name is very common. Any help gratefully received.

1911 census has him as a photographer at 66 Wiggenhall Rd Watford aged 32 born Paddington London, Edith 28, Cecil 7, Ronald 4 all born Watford.
I hope this is of some help.
My suggestion would be to send for the marriage certificate.

The marriage cert should give both father's names and their occupations and is the best way foward

Thomas Wells 24 London "Photographers Assistant" lodging with the Martindale family 155 High Street Watford.

Edith Florence Hart  18 Watford "Photographic Printer" with parents 144 Queens Road Watford

Looks like you now know how they met? (and her family)

Thank you very much - I had checked the 1901 census, and know also that Edith's mother Florence was the sister of Martindale's wife... It's Thomas who interests me at the moment since I can't find out much about him, or his death...

Thank you so much, I'll get it ordered and see where I can go from there. It might also help me pin down his date of birth, as the year I have as possible from the 1901 census does not fit in with two possible death dates in the 1920s.
