1851 census John is listed as James but all other details are the same as the subsequent census info: -

I must be doing okay now I got the hang on misspelled names I seem to be finding that same families as you are on findmypast.co.uk

Names: Bray, Powell, Mundy, Stevenson, Gregory, Swaine, Holloway, Shore, Merrett
