Thanks Monica! I have not checked them out but I will today. Since he was enlisted in Surrey I'm not sure but I can take a closer look!

It was the Chelsea connection that also caught my eye. Herbert Snr and family also remained in the local area and you will find them living in the same reg district in Chelsea as Herbert Jrn and wife Laura in later years incl. 1939.

Can't be more definitive for now though  :-\
