William Caulfield marriage ? Hilda ?

Hi Guys, my grand uncle, William Caulfield, born 26 November, 1896 in Waterford, Ireland was supposedly married, but I can't find a record for him. The family moved to Pontypridd and are recorded in the 1901 & 1911 census in Hopkinstown, Pontypridd and Treforest, Pontypridd respectively. It was hinted to me recently that he may have married a girl called Hilda. Williams parents were John Caulfield & Elen Keane. Hope someone can help, regards David.

There was a daughter Kathleen born to William and Hilda in 1922 and there is a tree on ancestry with her in it. She died in 1990. But they do not have parents for William on it!! Bah.

Ordering the marriage cert for William and Hilda with the proviso that his father must be John may be the only way to find out if this is your man. If no marriage cert with correct father then no charge.  Of course that is assuming that there is only one William with father John

William C A Caulfield died in 1953. Do you know when your William died?

William C A Caulfield was born, according to the trees on ancestry 26 November 1885 so not your man.
Mind you I can't see a birth on FreeBMD in that time frame yet.

He was born in Waterford Ireland

The William who married Sarah Jane died in 1962 - probate entry shows his address as being in Graigwen Pontypridd. Death registration suggests his year of birth to be c1899
