I also am looking into the jolly family.I have just been looking in the old messages and found the won you have put in.
My James jolley  born 1827 in Cowlinge married Francis jarvis
His father was Noah Jolley and mother Sarah Harvey.
James jolley first wife was Harriot Ball.they had a daughter Emma
James and Sarah came to Australia and settled in Greensborough Victoria Australia
They had 2 boys and one girl-John,Edward and Sarah.
This could be a decendent of the noah Jolly mentioned in your list of names.

Hi,

I am trying to trace an Alice JOLLY who married a John Blomfierld approx 1550 - 1565 give or take a few years - possibly Mendlesham or nearby

Would like to know DOB, location and location of marriage + kids.

If anyone has any info it would be very gratefully recieved.

Im just starting out on this Jolly adventure. My maiden name was Jolly and Im linked to the Framlingham Jollys. Charles Jolly was born in 1837 in Framlingham as was his son William C Jolly  (1861) and his wife Harriet (1858). They left Framlingham moving to Chilslehurst, Kent. William and Harriet had at least two children Alice and Emma whilst Charles had a daughter Mary (1870) and Charles (1873). I see that at least one person in this thread also has links to Framlingham. I would be interested in hearing more.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
