I am again finding that unread post pages are not going.....am on page 39 now have tried logging out
and occasionally that works but not since   mid April...............its not a hugh problem I just look at pages for today but as this was a problem a while ago and it seemed to have righted itself then.....I wondered if it was just me!

I've found that 'unread posts' can be a bit erratic at times.
Sometimes if I inadvertently close the screen, when I go straight back in, they are still there and sometimes they have all gone.
Also at times when I read one, and then go back to the list, it's still on the list whereas it should not be as it is now not 'unread'
But 39 pages??
Maybe something on your computer needs adjustment?
But don't ask me what - I'm sure someone more technical will come along soon.   ;D  ;D  ;D

I think the problem is often caused by not logging out when closing the session; however, having said that I have sometimes found a lot of unread posts still available even when I am sure I logged out previously, I shall watch the session closure specially.

I'm not sure how it can be a site problem, Sandie  :-\

I'm showing 3-4 pages at the most. Could it be your cookies or whatever. I know Tom did lots of tests a few months ago.

Have you got' show all unreads' ticked?

Just checked and I have 7159 pages when I click on All Unreads  :-X

I carefully logged out from my last session, though it was only half an hour ago; the 4 pages are still there. I have a few more things to check then I shall be off line till tomnorrow. Will check again then.

4 to 6 pages is fairly typical if you login daily. I just checked and I have 4 pages tonight.
