I just did a bit more hunting around. I do believe he remarried, to a woman named Charlotte Humphrey in 1843. A second marriage for both of them, her maiden name was Priddle. I am used to transcription mistakes, but Harris is a new one LOL,  :o

Hi,
I have just looked at the 1851 Census image on FindMyPast. James Wines is living alone, but recorded as married. People in the next house are two sisters with the name Harris. There is probably a mistake in the Ancestry transcription, combining two households.

hth,
Carmela
