Winston HAYES

The above was born in Wolverhampton on the 2nd April 1941 and I am told died on the 9th May 2001 in Adelaide. I have no other information between these two dates. can anyone point me in the right direction for emigration or marriage, death records? Thanks

While information on deceased persons can be published on this forum information in relation to his marriage and possible children cannot. The likelihood is they are all still living.

Cutoff for information on births in South Australia is 1928, Marriages 1937 and deaths 1972.

A search of Notices for his death reveals no one by that name in that time-frame 1990-2010

This is the SA Genealogy site http://www.genealogysa.org.au/ and I see they have 3 death notices from the Advertiser  for him which you can request (costs 14 dollars).

Let's see what we can turn up first.

I can't see his immigration on naa.gov.au - did he emigrate as a child with his parents?  If so what were their names?

you see details of about 43 families with that name who emigrated up to 1976.

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately I know Winston's , parents Harry and Dorothy both of whom died in England so I assume they did not go with him. Looks as if I may have come up against one of the proverbial brickwalls.
