Mary Jacobs married Peter Green

Maria Williams (from St Helena) married Andrew Cotton

Susannah Phillips (from St Helena 1862) married a local?

1908 Elizabeth and Agnes Smith of irish stock (reported as sisters but DNA tested unrelated)

Thanks for that I was always told that we had Maori blood and that is what most of the family believes,could never find anything to prove that but now this answers the question as to where we come from.
maybe the family was embarrassed and made up story ,I am really excited to find a different ancestor, don't think the Maori story holds up unless they removed one of my ancestors to Saint Helena

Hi. Agnes Lind is my 4xgrandmother. Her father’s name was John Anderson not Lind.
She caught a whaling ship to Tasmania and married Solomon Williams. They moved to new lambton Newcastle nsw and and lots of kids and eventually my grandmother Adele Myra Williams was born
Hope this helps. John Anderson committed suicide on the island and left a destitute family…thus the ship to tasmania
