Edward Clarke
« on: Tuesday 21 May 13 20:15 BST (UK) »
My 4th great grandfather Edward Clarke had a son named Andrew, born about 1850 but other than that I know nothing about him! I was talking to another forumer about an Edward Clarke they know nothing about apart from he had a son called Michael born around the same time as Andrew - but we don't know if this is the same Edward Clarke. So if anybody can give any help it would be welcome :)

To search for records before the start of civil registration you usually need to know a more detailed location , ideally the name of the town, townland or parish your Clarke family lived, also what denomination they were.

see : Introduction to Irish Records
My Ancestor came from Ireland - where do I start?

Remember to check the Resource boards :  Ireland, Dublin, Antrim & Cork (and stickies at the top of other county sub-forums)
