COMPLETED 1871 census - Haggeston
« on: Saturday 25 May 13 13:21 BST (UK) »
Could someone please see if they can find who is at 20 Pearson Street, Haggeston (St Leonards Shoreditch London) on the 1871 census? I cannot find it on Ancestry and do not have findmypast to do an address search

Thank you
James Stott c1775-1850. James was born in Yorkshire but where? He was a stonemason and married Elizabeth Archer (nee Nicholson) in 1794 at Ripon. They lived thereafter in Masham. If anyone has any suggestions or leads as to his birthplace I would be interested to know. I have searched for it for years without success. Thank you.

1871 census only gives addresses as Pearson St - no numbers

Do you have any possible names??

That's Ok could you give me the reference number of any name In the street and then I can go through the whole street to see if they have changed their name again (they finally settled on Garrett around 1880)
