Wondering how to find information in Alberta. 1. Do they offer any digitalized user friendly records?
 2. Medicine Hat Newspapers......any indexes available?  Interested in Christie, Jessie Margaret   Death ca 1930's
I know that BMD's were always news worthy events particularily in smaller areas.

There is this FIND A GRAVE entry for Jessie Christie. Died October 20, 1936

Burial Hillside Cemetery  Medicine Hat Alberta, Canada
Plot: Section C, Block 141E, Lot 3.

Another entry gives Jessie Christoe as 54 years old, so born 1882  ???

http://peel.library.ualberta.ca/index.html and http://ourfutureourpast.ca/ are places to look for newspapers. The latter has the "Medicine Hat News" but not up to the 1930s.
