William Hayden, Tramore, Waterford Mater Mariner

 William Hayden, Tramore, Waterford Master Mariner born 1874 father James Hayden william became a Master Mariner in 1881 and married Elzabeth Adams in Nova Scotia the family returned to Tramore. wife and  three daughters show up on both the 1901 and 1911 but he doesn't. Could have been at sea.

Any information on William welcomed also any information on how to trace  Irish Mariners and their boats would also be welcome.

Also looking for info on  James Barry from Tramore and Waterford born 1803 he was a harbour Pilot in Waterford and died in 1904.
Searching Mcnulty, Gallagher, O'Donnell. Achill Island.

For reference here is Elizabeth and family in 1911- Elizabeth's listed as a widow which is why you can't find her husband in 1911-

A James Barry (pilot, Waterford) in 1901- but age 84 (born c1817)-

Looks like this same James Barry in 1911-

Well, at least it does seem to narrow down when William might have died.

Is that the correct James Barry? age quite a bit out from your original post.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

If James Barry died in 1904 then it doesn't look like he was over 100 years old when he died- see here

Sorry I messed up on the dates he was born in 1811 in Passage, East Waterford and died in Henry Street
Waterford in 1916 aged 104.

There's a 1915 death which could be him but based on the 2 census records I'd be careful about believing his age.

Yes that's him thank's born in Passage East, Waterford. Died in Henry Street Waterford.

I would love to find out if he has a work record at Waterford Harbour.
