Looking for any information on a Thomas Wagstaff, born about 1830 in Lemington, England. His father's name was William. Thomas emigrated to Australia in 1850 and married Mary Ann Griffin.

I'm looking for information about his origins in England: Birth, census, etc.

There is a Lemington around Newcastle, Lemmington near Edlingham, then there is Leamington in Warwickshire.  Any ideas?  Occupation of father?

 Lemington was one of fifteen "townships" that comprised the ancient parish of Newburn,
 which lay immediately west of the city of Newcastle, within the county of Northumberland.

No Wagstaffs appear in my transcript of Newburn, nor any Wagstaff marriages in Northumberland 1813-1839 or Co., Durham.

Lemington is a village in the district of Newburn Hall. High Row was part of 'Low-Lemington'. All the house here have been demolished. High Row, Low Row, Tyne Iron Row etc. However a Facebook group - Lemington and Newburn Pit Village past - https://www.facebook.com/groups/1241638782946518 has extensive research on the area along with maps and ample photographs.
