casualities ww1
« on: Friday 31 May 13 06:53 BST (UK) »
I am looking for any records for a Bill (William Kubler) who I think was injured in ww1 . He was born in Dublin 1891, moved to Scotland after 1911 . I recently found a photo of him . On the back of the photo it said he had his leg blown off during ww1. No luck looking up National Archives Uk .  Thanks in advance brianog

No British Army medal card for a William Kubler online theres Augustus and Charles
If he lost leg he should have SWB but not listed....could he be Navy?

Yes that's him and his family alright. He is in the 1911 census also. As far as I know he left for Glasgow sometime after 1911 and died in Glasgow in the 1930's. Thanks for your help  :)
