Can anyone identify this uniform??

Hi all,
I know its probably a long shot, but I've been given a pile of old family photo's, one of which is a young man in military uniform. I was hoping to identify him from the uniform - could anyone help to identify it and the regiment?

He is a bands man and the cap badge looks like a Fusiliers.

Thanks for that, that's really useful! we suspected that it was my great uncle who was in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers, who died in  1917. Do you know how we could find out more about him being a bandsman, as its not mentioned in his WW1 service record?
