Hi Magiccat,

Holy Rude Churchyard and Mar & Valley Cemeteries sit side by side at the 'top of the town' just before you enter Stirling Castle Esplanade car park.

Holy Rude Kirkyard is behind Holy Rude Kirk
Mar Cemetery is behind Mar's Wark (next to the Portcullis Restaurant)
Valley Cemetery is behind Mar Cemetery

I think Section L is in Valley Cemetery.

Have a look here (Scottish War Graves Project):
http://scottishwargraves.phpbbweb.com/viewtopic.php?t=235&mforum=scottishwargraves

Scroll down till you come to Archibald Jenkins stone (which is Valley Cemetery), Section L, Lair 127, so your Guthries won't be far from that.

We're not allowed to post images from mapping sites or I could have shown you almost exactly in which part the lair will be. (I'm not sure whether Mar Cemetery also has a Section L too.)

I think the best idea would be to get back to Stirling Council and ask them if they could give you an exact location.

Anne  :)
