John Hooker (1723) - Sheerness, Minster.

Hey there,

I'm looking for a John Hooker, born 1723 in Kent (Sheerness/Minster area); he's my 6th-g-grandfather. I want to find out his parents' names. I've tried a search on Ancestry, but to no avail.

There is a record of his baptism on FindMyPast, but I don't know if that will show his parents' names, so am hesitant to buy some credits, especially since I have an Ancestry subscription. His wife's name was Mary, and his son John Hooker (b. 1755, Minster) had a wife called Elizabeth Freshwater.

I don't know whether people know if his parents' names would show on the FindMyPast link, so if anyone has any information on that, and it's positive, I might buy some credits.
