I don't see Davies at all
The second letter is nothing like the a in Elisabeth.

I could almost see Dennis, or even Demico (literally)

Given the standard of handwriting, I think all the suggestions
so far are reasonable.

Because I happen to write 'Th' using a single continuous
penstroke for the crossbar of the 'T' to join with the top
of the 'h', I immediately read this as 'Thomas', but have
low confidence in the idea as there is too much else wrong
it, especially the 'a' being too open.
