Hi ive found a relative of mine,Tom Wild born 1892,glandford,brigg(scunthorpe)apprentley according to the cwgc site on his memorial it says he was married to a lady called ElsieTuplin,formily Wild she lived at Church Street,Kirton In Lindsey,Lincs,ive found no trace of this marriage,can anyone help me please,
Other info that i have is that Tom was a lance sergeant in the 7th Battalion Lincolnshire regiment,he died on 10th july 1916 age 22/23, his service number was 14947,and he is on the thiepval memorial,somme france

there is a marriage for an Elsie Wild to Neave Tuplin in 1918 Glanford Brigg.

Tom WILDE (sic) m. Elsie HOBSON, Jun Q 1916.  (Glanford B. 7a 1709)

Elsie WILD m. Neave TUPLIN, Mar Q 1918.  (Glanford B. 7a 1364)

They'd only been married a couple of months when Tom was killed - so sad.  :'(

it seems Elsie spent 49 years as a widow from her 2nd marriage?

Hi to you all thanks for the above info on my relative so it looks like tom married this lady elsie and unfortunatly when he died she went and married the next guy,i will do some checking to see what else i can find out,
