If your Robertson family may possibly have branches in Denbighshire/Flintshire you might like to check out the name on my free website  www.namesfromclwyd.org.uk .

I presume you are referring to 1899-ish, rather than the last century which would be 1999?! ;D

1901 census has 15 Robertsons living on Anglesey.
Do you have any names & dates?

There are 2 Robertson families living in Holyhead:
Margaret (a widow) and 4 teenage children in Millbank Terrace
John & Margaret and 4 young children in Park Street
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

For William's parentage, you would need to look at Scotland's People website.
It's pay-per-view, and you have to buy credits.

But buying the marriage certificate would give you the names of both father's.

I can't see the family in 1871?! ::)
They're hiding from me!!
