William's father's name was down as William,  a gardener. I've been looking on 1851 census but can't find a match. There are a few birth's showing with father William on Family search, which makes it more difficult. A list of all the children in birth order  might help to get his mother's name.

Parish Church, Holyhead (St Cybi's) 22 November 1863:
William Robertson, 20, bachelor,carriage driver, residing Holyhead, Father: William Robertson, gardener
Margaret Owen, 19, spinster, residing Holyhead, Father: John Owen, Labourer
Married by licence.
