Would be grateful if anyone can please decipher the young ladies name on rear of photograph "September 1868"

Surname looks like Benthorp or Denthorp.

Forename? Ch. . .icco? :-\

It looks like  Chidicco Denthorp  but somehow it does not sound right. Is it an British picture or from abroad - US?

I think the christian name is Caroline (written before I saw what Geoff E had said).

I read the surname as Berthorp or Derthorp - that first letter is iffy  :-\

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately the photo has no details upon it whatsoever.. The name Chidico is an interesting if not unusual forename and somehow I recollect another photo with possibly the same forename. I shall try and dig it out and post for comparison.. Still a puzzling name though.. Thanks so far for your interesting contributions..
