Please help in deciphering old Latin on 1703 Welsh Will

I found the following will on-line at the Library of Wales:
John Pugh : 1703.
In Brecon Probate Records, 1660-1858 (WlAbNL)3650002
Pugh, John, Merthyr Cynog, Brecon

There is only an Inventory, so there are no details of the beneficiaries. However, there are notes which indicate that "Thoma" Pugh may have been the executor. I would be very grateful for comments on the following images:

Administration of the goods etc. of John Pugh deceased granted to Thomas Pugh the brother* and nearest relative, upon the renunciation by the widow of the deceased.
Inventory £3 12s. 0d.

* Fratri/brother is best guess. I don't think it's filio/son because there is no obvious L in it, but it has to be a close relative. Apparently John Pugh's widow declined to administer the estate, so it fell to his brother Thomas Pugh to do so (assuming that 'brother' is correct).

Dated 11 January 1703/04, it records the grant of administration to Thomas Pugh, who swore under oath to the truth of his statement that John Pugh's widow had renounced.

Bottom image
Cover sheet (or reverse side?), naming John Pugh as the deceased and Thomas Pugh as the administrator, dated 7 January 1703/04, at Merthyr.
