Actually, Belmont Road was the address of Newsham General Hospital, which was opened in the buildings of Belmont Rosd Workhouse. Newsham Park Hospital was opened in the buildings of the Seamen's Orphanage, once that closed.  It was in Orphan Drive. We have already had some confusion over this in another post. They were two entirely different institutions.

Hi marienne can you tell me who is in Ford cemetery AM 333 Howarth

I have a photo thanks to john orrlett he takes all the photos i request for Ford and I really appreciate that, the stone is too aged to read the bottom half though. The top has William Howarth died 26th feb 1944 aged 63 and Ann Howarth died 1950 aged 68. But there is atleast one more if not two names on the stone i can not read.
