I am trying to find the deaths of my great grandparents who came from Blackrock Dublin & were definitely in Liverpool in 1911, is this something you could help with?

This thread is for queries for burials where we can give a grave ref no from the burial records for Ford and Yew Tree Catholic cemeteries

If you post a query on the main Lancashire board and give details of your great grandparents' names and ages in the 1911 census then people will help by seeing if we can find when they died and where they may have been buried.
If that leads to a burial record in either Ford or Yew Tree, then you can come back to this thread and ask for a look up for the grave to see if others in the family are also buried there.

Hi
Do you have names plus dates of birth and dates of death? Were they Catholic? Do you know if they are interred in Ford?

Sorry, did not see Tickettyboo's response as my page had not refreshed.

That's ok, for anyone who wants to join in the hunt a new topic was started on the main Lancs board

Hi there!

I am currently doing research into my family tree and came across relatives buried at Yew tree cemetery. Would it be possible to find out who is buried at 3D332. Family name Murray.

Hi Marienne a while ago I asked you who was buried in Ford AE 481 and you told me, would you be able to check again please and make sure Margaret O'Neill burial date is correct because I'm trying to find her death record (to order a Death certificate) and can not seem to find a Margaret O'Neill who died in 1935-which could mean she remarried as my great great nan is down as her first married surname on the Ford burial record even though she had remarried so that is what probably has happened here with Margaret. Using Ancestry and looking at only the Liverpool Roman Catholic Burial records I've searched for all the Margaret's who died in 1935 trying to Find her but I can only find one Margaret who was buried in Ford Cemetery on the 1/7/1935 and she was not buried in AE 481 (she was buried in JL 9 and was 29 years old not 71) I've even checked all the Margaret's buried in July to see if the day was a typo but still I can't find a Margaret who was buried in AE 481 and it's really confusing me- John Orrlett has taken a photo of the plot and her name is not on the stone (her daughter, son in law and great granddaughter are named on the stone, the other people buried in the plot are her brother and son). To add to it  I can't find no record of her from 1888 when she was listed as next of kin for her husband when he was admitted (and later died) to the workhouse on medical grounds and am hoping I can work backwards from her death.

this is what you found last time (copied from page 137)

FORD AE 481
DEEDHOLDER    Patrick O’Neill Headstone Borders 233
Surname   Name   Died at               Age               Interred on
O’Neill   Margaret    107 Rice Lane L9   71       1/7/1935
McGee   Joseph   62A Birkett St         62      25/1/1945
Feeney   Maureen   72 Devon St          3      3/9/1948
Gregory   Mary A   14 Devon St L3          63      26/10/1949
Gregory   Charles William   14 Devon St    68        3/1/1953
O’Neill   Patrick   28 Constance St L3   66        15/2/1954

Thanks in advance.

Hope all is well down under.

Hi Marienne

Hope all is well with you.

Whenever you have time, please could you look and see who is buried in SD 252 in Ford

I can see a James Boyle, age 41,  buried there 12th September 1928 and, though I am straw clutching, hopefully I will be able to confirm / discount this record as being the man I am looking for.

Thanks

Boo
