Marriage lookup around 1902

I am looking for the marriage of Ernest Rowe and Nancy Ann Rimmer
Their eldest child (I think) Dorothy May Rowe was born in Bucklow, Cheshire in 1903
Nancy Ann Rimmer was born in 1876 in Birkdale and I have her 1881 census record
Ernest Rowe was believed to be from Southport
In the 1911 census, Dorothy May Rowe was living with her grandmother Ellen Rimmer in Wigan
I cannot her mother after 1881
Ernest Rowe is even more elusive, no sign of him at all!!!
I would be grateful if someone could find their marriage, then I would have a few more clues from the marriage certificate.

I cannot (see) her mother (Nancy) after 1881

Nancy is on the 1891 and 1901 - still in Birkdale, and in 1901 she's in Service to the Shorrock family (Grocers) in Brighton Rd - RG13/Piece 3533 Folio 179 Page 36

It looks like she married after the 1901 census and possibly before her daughters birth 2 Sept 1903
Or maybe not at

Theres only one Ernest Rowe in Lancs of an age or availability to marry when you suggest  ..

I have sent for the birth certificates, but they have not yet arrived,
I was hoping to send for the marriage certificate to confirm the parents, but cannot yet find a record.
I have seen the Manchester Ernest Rowe marriage, was it in Salford
