Alfred G T Smith born 1883 Leicester. travelling Sydney to Victoria British Columbia on the Aorangi arriving 24 Feb 1933. Retired Army Officer. brother Mr E Smith, 120 Park Ave, Quebec.

Thank you Sandra. This helped a lot. This is not my Alfred G T SMITH who was born in 1883. it was a different one. According to the family it was hard for the youngest brother to remember his real dad so my guess is that he left soon after he was born. Maybe left around about 1915 - 1920. not to sure when but his oldest brother had to tell him what his real dads name was and what happened to him.
