"Banner of Faith" & Wold Valley Magazine
« on: Monday 24 June 13 13:50 BST (UK) »
Anyone heard of the Old book "Banner of Faith" which contained copies of the Wold Valley Magazine for 1884, in which there was an obituary notice for an Elizabeth Ward, who died in that year in Helperthorpe.  Elizabeth Ward, nee Brown, was married to Joseph Ward, whose son Christopher, was the landlord of the Oddfellows Arms, Helperthorpe from 1891 until his death in 1903.

Hi Tom,

I'm not able to help with the book but the county archives might be able to help with the magazine:

East Riding do not have either, but have suggested I try Kent as according to National Archives website they have a copy of "Banner of Faith", so have e-mailed them.
