So are you saying you have no knowledge of a daughter to ANNIE named ALMA?
Perhaps we are mistaken in that case and another of the same name was ALMA's mother.

OH MY GOD. !!!  :D
My grandmother is Alma May Perry, born May 7, 1915 at La Rose Street Brunswick to an Annie May PERRY.  No parents of Annie May was listed.

My grandmother was indeed  illegitimate, and I have been desperately trying to find Annie May's information, but with next to nothing to go by apart from the information on Nan's birth certificate it has been VERY difficult indeed.

There is an Annie May Perry at the very same address where nana was born according to the census information right up until 1936 listed as house duties, which I find MUCH more than a coincidence.

This is not a chat room.  It is an online forum and you will not always receive an immediate reply.

The last  reply on the thread before you responded was in Jun 2013.

Anyway welcome to rootschat :)

You are looking at electoral rolls not a census.

Cheers :)

Exciting it is all on track for you  at last :)

Does the marriage suggested in Reply #27 by Cando, fit with your family history ?
