Worn Grave Marker
« on: Wednesday 26 June 13 12:16 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help with the inscription on this marker please it is quite worn. There are four people buried in this grave Thomas Hannam in 1841, Sarah Hannam in 1840, his wife, Mary E Edmonds in 1843 his daughter, and Sarah James in 1850 his sister in law.

the first few lines read

                         Sarah
             The beloved wife of
             Thomas Hannam Esq
of Middlesex Place   ( this is where he lived in London)

any suggestions would be appreciated

     Thanks   Steve

If you scroll down to the 'Graves etc' Main thread you will find some tips on there for photographing worn grave markers.

Something to do with angle and lighting.  Think there are also some examples on there to show just how much difference these can make.

Sorry cannot help with deciphering.
