Perhaps someone might help me find information on Hector Gilbert Farrell - born June 1899 in Ilkeston - not sure if there might be a record of baptism in St Mary's parish.  Also, the address of 165 Cotmanhay Road is of great interest.  There is a sign under the stucco on the side of the building referring to a Bakery/confectionery.  The letters above appear to be F A R (could this be Farrell).  I am only going by what I have found on the google earth map (as I live in Canada) and I do not know if perhaps more of the sign is now exposed and would give a clearer picture on the business.  Thank you for your help.

Hi, :)

The missing places in Lostris's transcription appear to be West Barkwith, Lincolnshire and Conisboro in Yorkshire.

Kind regards,

I've had a shot at making it clearer to see whether it could say Far(rell) ?

Thanks - thats helped locate Henry in 1891 pre-marriage.

For some reason he is using a younger bro's name - George - Lodging with a family in Doncaster .... he is a Baker.
