Thanks Jan.  Just spent a very happy half hour on there and found a photo of my Uncle  :)
Emberley / Emberley Poole Dorset but any in the uk are of interest

How nice to find a photo of your uncle.   :D

I think my lot, in whatever part of the country, were experts at hiding, at times, not only from the census enumerator but any passing photographers.  ::)

But I have accidently appeared in at least two photos as a boy without even trying!
