1861 Census Alderney - WETON

I am looking for a James Weton (born abt 1822 in Devon), believed to be living on Alderney in 1861. Could someone provide me with details of him and other family members, if he existed.

Hi again, i have him on the following census returns and on each one his surname has been spelt differently, its definately the same family as i've looked at the household.
They're living in Wales.

1871   Whiten
1881   Wheaton
1891   Wheton

Cant find him in 1901.

He died as a WHETEN in Cardiff in 1894.

I believe you may be searching the same lines as me.
I too am searching for a James Thomas Wheten but he was supposed to be about 1852 born in Channel Islands, I've just mailed a letter to the Guernsey Family history hoping they can find a birth for him. After that the family were then found in Roath, Cardiff.
Its not my family but I am looking for a friend.
