I am researching Jane Swailes baptised in Whitby on 1st January 1752. Her father is recorded as Thomas Swailes. I am wondering whether this is the wife of Jeremiah Sowden (no marriage record yet found). A Jeremiah and Jane Sowden went on to have Esther Sowden (1794) and Ann Sowden (1788). I believe they were travellers. Any information would be very much appreciated.
