I dont understand cyberstalking but apparently it is a big social media issue because you cannot see it happening so you only find out when it is too late and part of your ID has already been snaffled away and used by strangers who posed as your buddies online

So Pels, as you are ignoring me, can you tell me if ALL of my posts are missing from this thread, or are they still there?

Or is it only the posts AFTER you ignore me that are missing?

Can they see that you are ignoring them?

Presumably yes.  So I removed the name from the list.

Sorry, I couldn't see this before - as far as I'm aware it removes everything from view.

All of your posts look like this, Ruskie - I can only 'see' them if I choose to click on where it says Show me the post.

I love you all but I don't think I'll be adding anyone to my buddy list.  ;D

On a serious note, I don't really see the point in it all.
buddy = friend
ignore = foe
 :(

Thanks for the explanation Pels. I just sent you a quick PM to see if it reaches you if you are ignoring me.

I can't think of any circumstances that I would need to ignore someone but still be able to read their post if I wished. Bit odd.  :-\

Got to sign off now - it's past the witching hour for me.

As I said, there is a person on my list from whom I recently received a PM and, moreover, I can see that person's posts.  So it seems pretty pointless to me.

On the other hand, the "Block Topics" option might be useful.  No more excuses for locking and deleting topics because they might 'upset' a sensitive flower.  The sensitive flowers will now be able to completely block out anything they don't want to see.
