I have Catherine DADD born 5 Jan 1808, baptised 3 Apr 1809 St Martin in the Fields

Parents were William DADD & Sarah KING and I am looking for their marriage.

Other children were, Sarah DADD born 9 Nov 1802, baptised 3 Apr 1809 St Martin in the Fields

Charlotte DODD born 1815; Martha DODDS; born 1816 and Isaac DODD born 1819, all born in Islington?

Also; were William & Sarah born in Middlesex?

Hi Muffin,

Can I ask how you know Sarah is Sarah KING if you don't have the marriage? Do you have either of them on a census? Do you know what Williams occupation was? All of these can help.

I have found the birth & baptism for Martha DADDS on familysearch:

Name of father William DADDS, Name of mother Sarah KING

The other children named DADD, father William and mother Sarah (without surname)
 I have no other details

Charlotte Dadd, born 21 Jan 1815, parish of abode: St James Clerkenwell, father William Dadd, mother Sarah Dadd.

Martha Dadds, born 21 Nov 1816, bap 23 Feb 1817, parish of abode: St James, Clerkenwell, father William Dadd, shoemaker, mother Sarah Dadd nee King. (This matches the occupation for William on Martha's marriage cert).

Isaac Dadd, born 26 Dec 1819,  bap 29 Mar 1820, place of abode: 8 Aylesbury St, Clerkenwell, father William Dadd, shoemaker, mother Sarah Dadd nee King.

I can't see the births or baptisms for Sarah or Catherine?

Isaac seems to be a "Dadds" name that might be worth following, there is an Isaac Dadd & Sarah baptising children around the same time as William & Sarah, there may be a connection there?

I am now thinking out loud, did Sarah and Catherine DADD belong to the same Family as the other children?

I am following up Catherine DADD who married Joseph LACK 3 Jun 1827 at  St Giles Camberwell, he died 1 Aug 1874 in Islington.

I have Catherine Lack's death as 3 Nov 1883 in Kingston upon Thames

Any help in confirming this Information would be appreciated.

Just found two deaths for Sarah DODD which would be possibles

Sarah DODD born ca 1784, burial 7 Dec 1825 St James Clerkenwell; age 41. Sarah was living at the Workhouse.

Sarah DODD born ca 1802, burial 16 Aug 1816 St James Clerkenwell; age 13. Sarah was living at Aylesbury Street.

Well done Muffin, I thought the Sarah in 1802 was too big a gap from Charlotte, Martha and Isaac but now with Aylesbury street address it looks more likely that they are the same family. At the same Independent Islington Chapel was an Isaac s/o Isaac and Sarah so very possible that William and Isaac are brothers. I can't see a will for either of the on the genealogist, have you looked at the archives for will? I can't see a possible marriage anywhere and wonder if they did not marry in England. The closest I can see is a William Dodd and Sarah
Cook, 1800, both widowed, but can't find a relevant Sarah King to ? Cook marriage.

There is an account from London Lives about a theft from the house of Thomas, a shoemaker and his wife Ann Dadd, from Howard's Green, St Luke's.
